This privacy policy explains how NockWorks Innovations (“NockWorks”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects and uses personal information when you visit nockworks.com, contact us, create an account or buy from our UK online shop.
Who we are and how to contact us

Information we collect
- Orders and accounts: name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, telephone number, account details, order history and transaction references.
- Payments: payment status and transaction information. Full card details are entered into and processed by the selected payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Enquiries: information you provide through a contact form, email or other communication.
- Newsletter: your email address and consent record if you choose to subscribe.
- Technical and security information: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps and server/security logs needed to operate and protect the site.
- Cookie choices: your accept or reject preference. Analytics or marketing data is collected only after you consent.
How and why we use it
- To take payment, fulfil and deliver orders, manage returns and provide customer service — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep tax, accounting and transaction records, and meet other legal duties — necessary to comply with law.
- To prevent fraud, keep the website secure and administer the business — our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
- To answer enquiries and take steps you request before a purchase — contract or legitimate interests, depending on the enquiry.
- To send marketing emails or enable analytics/advertising technologies — only with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share information with
We share only what is necessary with service providers involved in operating the shop, including Fasthosts (website hosting), WordPress and WooCommerce service providers, payment providers available at checkout (including WooPayments and PayPal where selected), delivery carriers, email providers, fraud-prevention and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law. These organisations may act as processors or, for some services such as payments, as separate controllers under their own privacy notices.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires it, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or approved contractual clauses. How long we keep information
- Order, payment and accounting records are generally kept for up to six years after the end of the relevant accounting period, or longer if the law requires.
- Customer account information is kept while the account remains open, then deleted or minimised unless needed for legal records or disputes.
- General enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or consent is otherwise withdrawn.
- Security logs are retained only for a proportionate period needed to investigate and protect the service.
- Your cookie preference is kept for up to six months before we ask again.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary technologies without consent where they are required to provide a service you request, such as keeping products in your basket, remembering checkout progress, securing the website, processing a payment and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off through the consent banner because the shop would not work correctly without them.
Analytics, advertising and other non-essential technologies are blocked by default. They are enabled only if you select “Accept optional cookies”.
